This next generation intelligent sensor uses all digital signal processing (DSP) for no-drift high-accuracy results. Our patented environmentally adaptive algorithms use artificial-intelligence technology derived from over 100 million field hours of real-world data from our sensors installed in every part of the globe.
Thanks to our new DSP electronics, the need for field calibration is eliminated. The single enclosure makes integration and installation simple. Adding the optional HIP acoustic sensor provides for enhanced hail and ice pellet discrimination. No other weather instrument can provide this powerful combination of high performance, low cost and proven reliability!

OFS-F Sensor has proved to be an outstanding success, and we are starting on the next generation!
We have taken the knowledge and experience we have gained since we fielded the unit in 1999, combined it with suggestions from our customers, and have begun engineering development to produce a unit which will offer even better performance and flexibility. Our new units will feature even more robust resistance to hostile environments, greater flexibility in mounting, enhanced software algorithms, and improved optics. We are looking forward to adding it to our product line! |
