We are committed to giving our customers the best support possible. To do that, we need to know as much as possible about you and your equipment before we start.
Before you call or e-mail, please have:
1. Model and Serial Number Each unit of the system is tagged with the Model Number, and Serial Number. This will help us determine what system features you have.
2. Firmware Version (Digital output units) If your unit is responding to commands, find and note the software version. Consult your User's Guide for the command procedure.
3. Output Data Sample (Digital output units) Have at least 1 hour's recorded direct RS-232 output. 24 hours worth is preferred. Consult your User's Guide for the command procedure. Expert analysis of the unit's output data can be a valuable help in quickly solving a problem.
4. Physical Setup Description. A lot can depend on where and how you have the unit installed. Drawings, photos, or other descriptions can be valuable.
